What is BdChat?
BdChat is a secure and user-friendly communication app that lets you make voice calls, video calls, and chat instantly with friends, family, and colleagues. It's designed to deliver smooth, high-quality communication using the Agora SDK with reliable, industry-standard encryption.
How can I create a BDChat account?
To create an account, download the BDChat app, complete the registration process, verify your phone number.
Is BdChat free to use?
Yes. BdChat's core features such as text messaging, voice calling, and video calling are free. In the future, we may introduce optional premium features or in-app purchases for enhanced experiences.
How secure is BdChat?
BdChat uses standard AES-based encryption and token-based authentication provided by Agora to protect all communications. While it is not end-to-end encrypted, your data is securely transmitted and cannot be intercepted or decoded by unauthorized parties.
What data does BdChat collect from users?
We collect only the minimum data necessary to run the app smoothly — such as your phone number, device information, call duration, and connection status. We never store call or message content permanently, and we never sell your data to advertisers.
Does BdChat access my contacts?
Only if you give permission. Contacts are used to show which of your friends are already using BdChat. This data is handled securely and never shared with others.
Can I delete my BdChat account?
Yes. You can delete your BdChat account anytime from the app's settings menu. This will remove your profile and associated data from our servers as per our retention policy.
Why do I need to verify my phone number?
Your phone number helps us verify your identity and prevent spam or fake accounts. Verification ensures your communication is safe and limited to trusted users.
Why am I asked for microphone and camera permissions?
These permissions are required to make voice and video calls. BdChat never uses your microphone or camera without your consent.
Are my messages and calls recorded or stored?
No. BdChat does not record or store your communication content. Temporary data may be cached only during active sessions to ensure call quality and then automatically removed.
What should I do if my call quality is poor?
Poor call quality may occur due to unstable internet connections. Ensure you are using a stable 4G/5G or Wi-Fi connection. Closing background apps or restarting BdChat can also help.
Can I use BdChat on multiple devices?
Currently, each account is linked to a single device per session for security reasons. Multi-device support will be introduced in future updates.
How do I report a bug or suspicious activity?
You can report any issue directly through the website or by emailing us at admin@bdchat.co. Our technical team reviews every report carefully.
How do refunds work for paid features?
If you have purchased any premium feature or credit through BdChat and experience a technical issue, you can request a refund within 7 days by contacting admin@bdchat.co. Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy and app store rules.
Is BdChat available worldwide?
Yes. BdChat can be downloaded and used globally.
How often does BdChat update its policies?
